Strawberry crumble Bars | Strawberry crumb Bars

Today's Menu is Strawberry Crumb/ Crumble Bars . This fresh strawberry crumble Bar is made with buttery shortbread base, layer with fresh strawberry and covered with crumbly ,buttery streusel topping..
     This strawberry crumble Bar goes best with a cup of coffee or tea or ice cream as a summer dessert.

Cook Time -- 40 - 45 minutes

Ingredients----
------------------

For Base and Topping :-
-----------------------------------

All purpose flour/ Maida - 1 1/2 cup

Sugar - 3/4 cup

Baking powder- 1 tsp

Salt - 1/4 tsp

Butter- 1/2 cup  ,cold & cubed

Egg - 1


For Filling :--
-----------------

Fresh Strawberry-  1 cup ,chopped 

Sugar - 2 tbsp

Cornflour- 1 tbsp




Method :----
-------------

Preheat your oven on 180 c for 15 minutes. 

Arrange sqare baking pan with butter / parchment paper 

Take a bowl add flour ,sugar ,baking powder and salt .. Mix well

Then add cold and cubed butter and egg..Mix well everything with your hand till get a crumbly texture...

Now put half of the crumble into the baking pan..press little to make crumb base ..

Now chopped strawberries. Add sugar and cornflour ...Mix well everything..

Then spread this strawberry over the crumble base...

Then covered strawberries with half of the crumble

Now  put the strawberry crumb into the preheated oven on 180c for 40 - 45 minutes..

Note ---  I like little more brown crumble cover so after baking I grill it for extra 3 minutes..it's absolutely your choice.

Eggless Spinach and Mozzarella Muffins ..

Muffins are always loved by all age groups. Definitely kids liked it more..
  Generally we are habituated to eat sweet muffins..
 But this time i tried spinach and Mozzarella savory Muffins ..Me and my little one was too curious to see the final product and believe me this savory Muffins was too yummy , tasty and healthy too..
   I have here used Mozzarella cheese but You can use any cheese of your choice..



Cook Time -- 30 -35 mintues
Serve - 5

Ingredients  -----

Refine flour - 1 cup

Blunch and chopped spinach - 1/2 cup

Mozzarella- 1/3 cup

Buttermilk or curd - 1/2 cup

Baking powder - 1 tsp

Baking soda - 1/4 tsp

Melted butter - 1/4 cup

Crushed / chopped Garlic - 1 tsp

Salt - 1 tsp ir as required

Black pepper  - 1 tsp




Step by step Method -----
---------------------------------

Preheat your oven on 200c for 10 minutes..

Take a bowl ,add melted butter and crushed garlic ..

Now add buttermilk or curd, salt to taste and black pepper..
  Whisk well till smooth..


Then add sifted flour ,baking powder and baking soda..
    Mix well with wet ingredients with spatula ..

Then add chopped spinach and Mozzarella cheese..Mix well with batter..



Now arrange all muffins molds with muffin paper.

Pour batter into all muffins mold 3/4 th....spread some cheese on top..

Now keep all muffins mold into the preheated oven..

Bake spinach and Mozzarella Muffins on 180 c  for 30-35 mintues..
    After 30 minutes insert a toothpick inside the muffins ,if it comes out clean means its done..if not then bake it for few more mints..


Eggless Orange Cake With Choco orange glaze

Frangnant , moist ,tender orange cake made with freshly squeezed orange juice and orange zest..
Here i have made eggless orange cake with fresh orange juice but you can even use readymade orange juice. 
Eggless Orange Cake is soo easy ,simple ,no fuss and easy to make recipe...you can also made eggless orange muffins with this batter too..

Cook Time :--- 45 - 50 minutes
Serve - 6

Ingredients:

Refine flour  - 1 cup

Baking powder- 1 tsp

Baking soda - 1/4 tsp

Fresh orange juice  - 3/4 cup

Soft butter -  1/3 cup

Powder sugar - 3/4 cup

Ingredients for choco orange glaze --- 
Powder sugar- 1 cup

Coco powder - 3 tbsp

Butter - 1 tbsp

Orange juice- 2-3 tbsp


Method  :---

Take a bowl add soft butter and powder sugar. Whish till fluffy..

Then add orange juice and mix well with butter and sugar mixture till incorporate ..

Now add dry ingredients flour , baking powder and baking soda (pass through the sieve) with wet ingredients..

Now mix well dry and wet ingredients with spatula to make semi thick batter..

Now add orange zest and mix well with cake batter..

Grease a round cake tin with little oil or butter and dust with flour..

Pour cake batter into the cake tin..tap twice..

Bake cake in preheated oven on 180 c for 35 - 40 minutes..

After 35 minutes insert a toothpick or knife into the cake ,if it comes out clean,means cake is done .if not then bake cake for few more mints..

Do not touch cake tin till its little cool.

For choco orange glaze ---  take a bowl add powder sugar,coco powder , butter and orange juice..and mix well everything till smooth.
Pour this glaze over the orange cake..let it set for 5 minutes..
